Artist Statement

My work reflects an obsessive need to be perfect, from crisp, clean lines to the tiniest of details that, oftentimes will go unnoticed. My brain is constantly stretching itself with ideas, anxieties, emotions, and memories, never stopping, never pausing. As a result, my work comes from the mechanics of my mind, the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly. Themes of time, memory, and space appear because I strive to make work that is comforting and offers a sense of home and security.
